Tips on ways to prevent the Credit Union from having to contact you regarding your account, loans or credit card:
If you find yourself without a job, PLEASE call us and talk to either our Loan Processor or CEO/Manager. We can work with you and try to figure a way to get you current. Letting us know that you are trying goes a long way. It's a lot better than letting your loan or credit card accumulate interest and more late fees.
If you have “Job Hopped”, meaning you have gone from a job with one company and now have a new job with a different company, please let us know. If you are on a draft your payment WILL NOT MAKE because it is a different ACH withdrawal with a different company.
Try to stay consistent with your payments, not that this will warrant a call from the Credit Union, but it helps. It helps to keep your interest somewhat the same each month and makes it less confusing for you, as a Member, in the long run.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT. When you move email us so we can change it in our system. We send out monthly statements in regard to your account(s). If we don’t have a current address, then you don’t get your statement or a payment reminder letting you know you need to make a payment. In addition, keep your phone number current. That way if your account goes negative or is about to go negative we can contact you and let you know. Being able to contact you would allow you to make arrangements and avoid accounts becoming delinquent. So always keep your contact information current.
